The Thorburn & District Fire Department is an all volunteer

department situated in Pictou County,

Nova Scotia, Canada. The 50 sq mile area we

cover has approximately 750 homes and businesses.

We respond with 4 trucks out of our fire hall

which is situated in the community of Thorburn.

The area we respond to also includes MacLellans Brook,

MacLellans Mtn, MacPhersons Mills, Coalburn, Greenwood,

Sutherlands River and Telford.

We have 27 members who respond to fire, rescue

and medical emergencies.

Our Fire Dept is dispatched by calling 911.
